Music Play

Music Play
Children are naturally fascinated with sound and movement as they teach themselves how to function in the world. Every child has the potential to learn music. However, without early exposure and sequential music guidance, the potential and ability for true music understanding and enjoyment are left underdeveloped in most children.
Music Play is an Early Childhood Music Curriculum and informal guide for a strong developmental foundation in music. In music play, students are exposed to diverse tonalities, keyalities, and meters through listening, singing, chanting, and movement.
This developmentally appropriate music class is based on Music Learning Theory for Newborn and Young Children by Edwin E. Gordon as well as years of research.
Level: Parents, Infants & Toddlers
Class Time: Mondays at 11:00 am
Cost: $20 per student (30 min class)
